It amazes me how man spends millions of dollars on trying to find and communicate with life somewhere else in the universe when at the same time national leaders let millions of poor "human" children go hungry and die of starvation right here on planet earth. You would think that if there were "more intelligent" life elsewhere in the universe, that man at this stage in history would be hoping to avoid any kind of contact for fear of embarrassment due to gross negligence, irresponsibility, prejudice, greed, carelessness and racism, just to name a few shortcomings, and the obvious inability to prioritize life's most important concerns into the proper order. What excuse does a man have, when after being on planet earth and having been given the ability to help others, chooses not to, and leaves this world to stand before his creator? |
